Scope
This notice explains the processing of personal data on nowu.eu and in connection with enquiries to Nowu e.U. The Memotik and BdayBee services may have product-specific features, account flows and notices. Where a product provides a separate notice at the point of collection, that product notice applies to the relevant processing.
Data processed when you visit this website
When this website is accessed, our hosting and security providers may technically process IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser type, operating system and referring page. This processing is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably and is based on our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you contact us by email, we process the details you provide in order to respond to your enquiry and to handle any subsequent correspondence. Memotik and BdayBee
Memotik is designed for creating and sharing photo-based memories. Depending on the features you use, a product-specific notice may cover account and contact details, uploaded photos and associated metadata, content you choose to share, and technical usage or security data. BdayBee is designed to help organise birthday-related experiences. Depending on the features you use, a product-specific notice may cover organiser and participant contact details, event details, invitations or messages, and technical usage or security data. Only provide information about other people where you have a lawful basis to do so and, where required, have informed them.
Recipients and international transfers
We may use service providers for hosting, security, email and technical operations. They process data only as necessary to provide their services. Where personal data are transferred outside the EEA, we use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Retention
We retain personal data for no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Product-specific retention periods should be stated in the relevant product notice.
